This pattern finishes to a 12 1/2" block, uses 3 fabrics and introduces the sewing before you cut technique.  Thie center square works great for fussy-cutting a small picture or design.  A copy of the pattern is below.

This variation reverses fabrics B/C for a slightly different look.
